Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry The numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of visitors from the United States who visited Israel during the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from 2019.
"It is so thrilling to once again see an increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers in 2019." said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. נווה פריצקי "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel, and before the COVID-19 epidemic, we were celebrating record-breaking tourist numbers every month. Canada is also on track, as the United States, to surpass the amount of tourists that visit Israel. In July 2022 Canada had 7,200 visitors while August saw the number increase to 6,000.
